Apple TV for Pac 12?

They aren't going to get anything close to $30 million on a deal like that. They wouldn't get ESPN to pay them $30M total for just one game a week, let alone per team. Scripts isn't going to pay any sort of premium to put on games that no one else wants. The story with the Friday night Amazon game was already out there that Amazon was interested because they could promote it on their Thursday night NFL games, but they weren't going to offer much money for it.

That package doesn't even come close to $30 million.

The funny thing though is after listening to all the PAC12 people bitch for years about playing on Saturday nights that now they think that part of what is going to save them is to play on Friday nights.

Combined, dude.

Ore, Ore St, Wash, Wash St, Utah, Col, Az, ASU, Cal, Stan are worth no less per team than TT, TCU, Baylor, Hou, OK St, Kan, KSU, ISU, WVU, UCF, Cincy

Which is why the Big 12 getting their deal done first was the smart play. It shuts off some of the potential outlets for the PAC12. Less outlets bidding means less leverage. Less leverage means less money. Even you should be able to understand that. Which is why the PAC12 is desperately trying to get "new people" involved. Because they aren't getting the money from the "usual suspects".

And yeah, combined, dude. How much do you think that ESPN would pay for one night game a week? How much do you think that Amazon is going to pay for one Friday night game a week?

It's as if you think that adding up a few small numbers equals a giant haul, when in reality adding up several small numbers just adds up to a little larger small number.

Roughly the same amount per game as the Big 12 is getting.

If they were being offered that they would have already taken the deal. It is obvious at this point, both because they have not completed the deal and because they are trying to get someone like Scripps involved that they aren't getting near the offers they were hoping for.
