Nothing was as unfortunate as listening to Dick Groat after the game. He couldn't remember Randall's name, he called him the transfer. And he said we have a big time PF coming in next year to go along with the kid from Talahassee and a 5 star guard who can really shoot it.

I'm sure he doesn't realize that Manigalut isn't here till 2016, but I'm honestly not sure if the guard he was referring to was Wilson or Heron.
Either way, I'm hoping someone else heard that and maybe some changes can be made behind the microphone as well. It was honestly hard to listen to.

Our radio crew has needed an upgrade for ten years.

Between Groat's incoherent babble and Hillgrove not being able to identify a player to save his life(football and basketball), Pitt athletics might have some of the worst broadcasters in college athletics.

I respect what Dick and Bill have done, but sometimes you need to move on with your life's work.

At least Pat Bostick does a good job.

Northwest Florida State College, Benji Bell, Tallahassee. About an hour out. Hope its true Whirly, lights out shooter 1 /2 guard.

I liked listening to Marcus Bowman in Hawaii. For a guy who has been with the crew for a while, I don't think Aiken brings anything to the table.

Well, they better get ready to hear some new voices. Hillgrove will soon be put out to pasture by both Pitt, and the Steelers. Mike Lange is getting long in the tooth as well.
