It's not about who you DIDN'T get, it's about who you got...
At this point, none of the kids listed as Pitt commits actually belong to Pitt. Therefore, do not dwell on the players we missed out on in the next few days... It's a disservice to the kids who actually sign and want to be part of the Pitt family.
The signs point to Hamlin becoming a Panther. However, tomorrow he may commit to another school. It's happened before with Robert Foster.. The night before his press conference, a person that was VERY tight with the Pitt coaches told me he was sure that Foster would announce for the Panthers. We all know how that went. So we survived, we moved on, and we got a player that was even better in Tyler Boyd.
The bottom line is we will be a much deeper and talented team after Wednesday. The players coming in will be better than the ones that are leaving (No disrespect).
It's ok to be disappointed if a player doesn't sign with Pitt on Wednesday, but don't be a drama queen. These things happen at other schools as well.
