regardless of what pre-season guesses were, at 5-2 and with this remaining schedule, 9-3 should be the acceptable minimum if we are to take baby steps toward real relevance again.
That's possible. Not a certainty. Going to be tough to call the playoffs this year. Clemson hasn't been their normal impressive self...yet. And the Buckeyes are very legit IMO because of Justin Fields.

Agree with you. I was penciling in Bama v OSU until Tua went down. Those were the two most complete and talented teams. Losing Tua or having him play hobbled like last year is a Huge blow to their chances. He had that Bama offense rolling.

As I said earlier our offense isn’t top 20 caliber offense though. It’s frankly at best average. We could beat or lose to any team ... IF we don’t turn the call over
Well I guess technically you’re correct, we’d be 24-28 point dogs to Alabama and those teams do win occasionally, but it is a very, very rare occurrence.
