Backyard Brawl 2020?

If what I’m hearing is correct, all ACC teams will play 10 conference games and 1 out of conference game.
WVU is scheduled to play FSU but the whole reason the ACC is considering the 1 OOC game is to continue rivalries like FSU vs UF.
Obviously it would make the most sense to play WVU if we were to play any OOC team.
It would be incredible to see an early renewal of the Backyard Brawl.
 
No doubt .
I would be face planted on my TV for that game .
I would want to see what Paris Ford could do against the Mountaineers.
 
Playing the hoopies would be fine, especially with no fans. I would like to play 8 or 9 conf games(including ND) and the hoopies. Start first weekend in October, one off week.

You guys just want to play us this year because we're not going to be very good.Your D is going to be pretty good and our O is going to struggle especially at the beginning of the year.Better days are coming down here but not next year.bwdik

I still hate Pitt and I'll take that to my grave.I hate you guys but I'm a realist when it comes to athletics and I think you'd beat us this year.After giving it a second thought "I still hate Pitt!"

I just told my wife what I wrote and she threw a half full Natty Light can at me.She said don't tell anyone you hate them,tell them you dislike them very much.So I don't hate Pitt I dislike you very much.Damn can hurt like he'll when it hit me in the back of the head.

Wonderful Warren is a great guy.Definitely one of Wvu's all time greats.I just talked to Warren at the Meadows Casino last week.He was one of my son's professors at Fairmont State,he taught there for 25 years.I played a lot of softball with him.He was a big left handed power hitter with Dick Stuart like ability at firstbase.aka Dr Strange Glove.

20-20,I'm hitting the sack.If it could happen I'd love to play Pitt this year.I'm up in Benezette with the Elk and Bear right now,so I have no inside info on Wvu.What I'm reading on the message board is the Acc wants us to play VA instead of FL St.This would free up FL vs Fla St in a abbreviated schedule.Who's knows what's going to happen.I'm always up for a Pitt vs Wvu match up in any sport.H2P

True, some throw empty bottles of Crown at opposing fans now. I remember back in the day when only empty Evan Williams bottles were being tossed....

Mostly MD 20-20 and Boones Farm bottles were being tossed from my section jd.Those were great times at old Mountaineer Field.Beers being thrown on opposing teams fans,verbal abuse the likes of which you Pitt fans had never heard and fights on every corner.Those were the days my friends I thought they'd never end.Now the tailgates are catered,IPAs are the beers drank,martinis are common,Johnny Walker platinum is the whiskey of choice and flavored moonshine is favored.I hate these sophisticated times,give me the 70s.You millennials are whimps.

I would love to replace the Maryland game with Pitt. We could still play UVA and Pitt this year, it would just be both teams out of conference game.

Both OU and KU have recently added games so reading the tea leaves, the B12 is going to have a regular season.

Just saw that Iowa St added Ball State to their 2020 schedule to replace Iowa. So yeah, looks like B12 is moving forward.

Your sister/wife being from WV would never throw a can of beer that still had beer in it! She would chug the rest first before throwing it!

My wife(cousin) is not too smart she's a Slippery Rock grad.Another reason she threw the beer was because she's a Busch Lite drinker and we were out of it and she doesn't really like Natty Light.
