how a signed letter of intent works and how or why you can get released from that. Will Thompson have to sit a year as if he transferred? Could Stallings have said no you can't be released? And if he could why didn't he. I'm just curious.
I really enjoy this site and appreciate all the talk and info. Having said that, is everything really kept so quiet that no one can get any hint about what's going behind the scenes?
For instance, an interview with Thompson about what prompted him to leave. Or some inside info from someone in the athletic department about their degree of concern at this point. I understand that no one is going to come out and say "I left cause I finally realized I don't like the coach". But you can tell a lot from how someone says something or even by what they don't say. And I know the AD is not going to come and say we are looking for a way to get rid of the guy but someone must have some feel for what is going on.
