Just got off the phone with my buddy Mike who lives in New York.I was calling to make sure he was OK in relation to the Corona. Mike and I have been friends for over 45 years. We met at a wrestling scrimmage between our two high schools in the early 1970s. Mike was a stud wrestler on a good team. I was an average wrestler on a not so good team. Mike was a junior, I was a sophomore. I asked Mike if he had any pointers for me. He told me to meet him at his high school gym the next morning. For seven straight weeks IN that Summer of 1972, we practiced wrestling, lifted weight and did cardio. We would work out from 7 to 10, Get a shower, change into our Kennywood UNiform and Get to work by 11. Mike did not have to help me like he did. He just saw a kid who was interested in wrestling and have up his summer mornings to make me a better grappler. Mike and I have stayed friends since that 1972 Summert, including being ineascothet,s weddings. Mike is a great man and shows the true character of a wrestlet. We need more Mike,s in the world today.
