I am forced to post this as an "open letter" because those in power at the 'Lair have decided that one can't access private messaging without a paid account.

For about the last two weeks I've been experiencing an issue with being able to participate on this forum. I don't have access to the "reply" box, or start a new thread as I used to be able to.

I've noticed that when I attempt to "reply" to a thread that has just been created, or if there are only a few responses, the box for me to type in isn't there. I see the word "reply", but there is no box to type in.

I am, however, able to participate in threads that have multiple responses.

When I attempt to start a new thread (as with this one), I was only given the option to start a Poll. I had to click on the "wrench" tool to open BB Code Editor.

I experience the same issues whether I'm on a PC, Laptop, Android table, or Android phone. I haven't checked my Ipad or Windows tablet yet because I rarely use them for the internet, but I will check them soon.

The only browser I use is Firefox (on all platforms), and I haven't noticed any updates in this time frame.

Is anyone else experiencing issues? Does anyone know of a solution?

Edit to add that I have full functionality with Firefox on my iPad and Windows tablet.

I am having issues where today when I view a thread on my phone, the sound icon pops up as some video wants to constantly play at the bottom of each page. This is annoying as it causes my typing to lag at a rate not seen since aol online

The only browser I use is Firefox (on all platforms), and I haven't noticed any updates in this time frame.

My Firefox seems to have updates downloaded every few days. When it starts, I get a message saying something like Firefox will start in a few seconds after the downloads are installed. No Lair problems on my Firefox on my desktop.
