I just saw Penny Hardaway's press conference today. After watching that, I am even happier to have Jeff Capel representing our school and Men's Basketball program. I firmly believe the results we want will come in time. Until then, let's appreciate the fact that our coach conducts himself in a way we can be proud of. He doesn't drop F bombs at the media. He doesn't swear casually while answer questions. He doesn't make excuses for losing. He is a good coach who found himself in two terrible situations. First, the mess he inherited from Stallings. Then his own misjudgment of the character of that first recruiting class. He has made no excuses. He just keeps giving his best effort to make the team and the culture around the team better. I have confidence in his ability to win and win big here. In the meantime, I am proud to have a man of his character represent Pitt. H2P!
