Miami and Virginia Tech at the top contending for national titles (Miami/VT winner will make CFP if they win the rest of their games including beating Clemson in Orlando).

- A middle tier program that has our number (WVU then, UNC now)

- An up and down program who runs a run-heavy option-focused offense (Syr then, GT now)

- 2 bottom feeders (Rutgers and Temple then, Duke and UVa now)

- Pitt being perpetually Pitt.

The VT game later this month is looking like a huge game. Is VT as good as they looked today, or did UNC lay an egg. Be nice to see UNC take another loss or 2.

We are already anointing Miami and Va Tech as national title contenders?. That both are ranked is a joke. Miami has played NO ONE except Fla St and that game ain't over. Va Tech did beat UNC convincingly, but that is it. Sure one of them MIGHT win out, but there is a lot of football left to play.

Duke is not a bottom feeder.

Miami and VT will be favored in all their remaining games except one will obviously be the underdog when the 2 teams play.

I am not predicting this. Just saying if Miami goes 13-0 or VT goes 12-1, they will make the CFP easily.......and again, both wiml be favorites until Orlando.

Duke and uva are not bottom feeders. Temple would never beat nd as duke did.

Purdue, Rutgers, they are bottom feeder

I agree that Duke and UVa are better than Temple and Rutgers were but I think Duke's 3-4 year run of glory has ended and while they will never be 1-11 or 2-10 under Cutcliffe, I think their best days are behind them.

I watched a good bit of the 2nd half of vtech unc and SWITZER was dropping passes, fumbling by qb on handoffs , ints. Once it started going against them the wheels came off in that weather and unc could not throw due to the ball being like a wet blanket.

No crowd etc. Not your normal game to judge a teams performance on.

Now obviously vtech appears to be a bether team than last year but I guarantee that team isn't going 9-3 let alone 12-1.

If this game was played in normal weather, the outcome would have been very different.

Agreed but still think VT wins. They're starting to look very legit. Could be in the Top 15/10 when Pitt plays them. May jump to around 15 after that win.

I agree VT is looking much better. This should have been a close game. NC totally imploded in the bad weather.
