I've been watching Pitt since we played each other here at Kinnick last month. The smash-mouth defense you guys played still sticks in my head, and it told me you had finally hired the right coach. Just said the same thing on our board. Pitt is as hard nosed as Wisconsin was, but with an offense. It would not surprise me to see Pitt run the table from here...and yes, I know how tall an order that is.

I feel you guys are having the same problem getting respect as we are. Unbeaten in a P5 and still cant crack the top 10, what a joke. Keep on rolling Hawkeyes and run the table then shock the world in the B1G CG. The better you do the better our loss looks (provided we keep taking care business).

Let the record show I predicted Iowa in the Big Ten championship game after they beat Pitt. Iowa always looks pretty fundamentally sound but they have a few stars this year in that QB and a couple secondary guys.

Have to say I really enjoyed the Pitt series...very similar teams. Hope Pitt wins out...easy team/fan base to root for...

Seems to me (considering Iowa's remaining opponents in relation to playoff consideration) Hawkeye fans have to be Pitt's biggest fans right now.

The West is Best.

I think you would find that the fanbases in the more western portion of the Big 10 are more friendly and fun-loving than the asshats from Ohio/Michigan and the Happy Valley area of Pennsylvania. I also found the Maryland fans to be jackasses too, when we went out there last fall.
