If Clemson were to get upset tomorrow but beat Miami next week, both will have two losses and neither would have a good argument for inclusion.

Miami locks up a bid with a win over Clemson. They'd 11-1.

Clemson probably goes at 11-2 if they lose to SoCar and beat Miami. They have to get to 4 somehow

So you still think a 1 loss Miami gets in over a 1 loss Alabama?

Yes.

Alabama's schedule was too weak. Alabama's best wins would be over LSU and Miss St. Miami would have wins over Clem and ND. Not even close.

In your mind sure, but in reality there is very little chance a 1 loss Alabama gets left out.

The only way it happens is if Wisconsin, Clemson, and Oklahoma all win and Georgia is the SEC Champ. Even then I guarantee Georgia fans would be sweating it out mightily on selection day.

12-1 Bama, yes. Sorry, I was thinking you meant 11-1 Bama meaning they lost to Auburn.

12-1 Bama means:

UGa
Bama
OU
Clemson

If Miami beats Clemson, the only way they get in is if OSU beats Wisky

Right now scenerios still exist for every major conference but the SEC to be left out. Most likely, if Clemson wins, the ACC champ is in though.

As much I love the gamecocks they can't keep up with Clemson offensively so I think Clemson will be two and I don't believe they are going to lose to Miami.

I think Clemson has a better chance of losing to South Carolina than Miami. If it wasn't already there, Pitt put the book out on how to beat Miami today.

I don't think South Carolina has the tools to pull off beating the Tigers. They are a bit intimidated by them in state @ the moment. That's half the battle...make the other team doubt their capabilities. Tigers by a couple of TD's unless they get'em down and then it's katy bar the door.
