It worked well against ND a few years back and they won the game.fake punt instead of a game tying FG..NO GOOD PSU WINS..unreal..two peas in a pod.
Wrong I’ll admit it...great win.fake punt instead of a game tying FG..NO GOOD PSU WINS..unreal..two peas in a pod.
Except Dantonio ain’t Narduzzi.
No matter what happens, he never blinks. And that’s the personality of his team.
I’m talking about Dantonio.Blinks? Did you watch Narduzzi's post-ND press conference? The guy was fighting back tears. No wonder the team sucks... takes on the personality of its coach - a flake.
I’m talking about Dantonio.
Never bet against him. Michigan is a way better team this year. But Dantonio might just find a way to beat them-again.I don’t think Dantonio has a very good team team this year, but you have to hand it to him.
He recognized PSU wasn’t top of their game today and he kept the pressure on all day.
I thought this was a really good job by him considering what he has to work with.

Funny you say that since their current QB is considered one of the best pro prospects Dantonio has had. I don’t think you know Sparty as well as you think you do. They have had huge o-line injury issues and their bell cow, LJ Scott has been out and a bunch of receivers hurt.I’ve actually had a real good read on MSU this year, as much or better than any other team in the country.
With the way they play they are a good bet as a dog, not so much when they’re the chalk.
He had a real good run at identifying future NFL qb’s that were somewhat off the radar coming out of high school, since that run has ended they’ve struggled a bit. He’s shown that he’s a good enough coach to still be respectable even without a star at the QB position.

Last year Lewerke was on a steep upward trajectory. Plenty of discussion about how he might be the best NFL QB prospect Dantonio has had, an early draft entrant, a high pick, etc. This year he and the whole MSU offense have sputtered. The biggest reason for that is the O line injury situation which has killed them. The success of every offense starts and ends with the O line, and MSU has built their program on that. A secondary reason is the loss of LJ Scott. A third reason is the injuries at WR.I don’t see Lewerke on the same level as those other NFL guys they’ve been churning out over the last decade and I expect them to lose multiple games over the course of the season.
Maybe I’m wrong and he does make the league, but they are a team I’ve literally been on point with every game this year including today. Today was more about PSU than it was about MSU.
Not that that makes me some kind of genius, as right as I’ve been about MSU I’ve been on the wrong side of nearly every Auburn game this year. You’d think I’d learn given Malzahn’s history.
