As others have said, PSU fans could be treated perfectly and have a great time.....and those who didnt attend the game will talk about how bad they were treated, how they didnt have enough room in their seats for their asses and when bench seating is better, how they had to sit beside minorities in the stands, etc etc etc. Just have to recognize that going in.
I hope we beat the crap out of them, and this happens.

I'm to the point that I'm not looking forward to the game. These PSU nitwits bring some mighty perverted viewpoints and morals into our stadium and I don't want them anywhere near where I am.

Unfortunately, it's true. I was at the 13-9 game with my son, and a group of drunk fans did everything they could to provoke a physical confrontation simply because I was wearing Pitt gear. I chose to walk away with all of my teeth, which is more than could be said for a lot of those in attendance.
I've had good and bad experiences at WVU. One time had my car was keyed near my alumni license plate, but the rest was just normal ribbing for the most part. Just avoid the drunk students and for the most part fine with WVU.

Way back in the 80's we made a trip to happy valley. Group of goofy college kids who never tailgated before trying to do it. Of course we forgot about 80% of the needed supplies. Penn State fans near us couldn't be nicer. Saw we were struggling and gave us a bunch of stuff to actually have a decent tailgate. Of course that was just one experience long ago, but I'd say the ND fans were bigger knuckleheads.

guys, as much as we and them talk about doing this and that, nothing will happen.. think about tomorrow and compare it to any SEC or big ten game.. It's not even in same ballpark. Think about going to a bama game and wearing an auburn jersey, even a Michigan jersey to an msu game or vice versa. Hell, pick any D1 game in the south, go to the tailgate and you will see a thousand times worse behavior than what you will see at Heinz field..
Pitt and Heinz field couldn't be more welcoming to opposing fan bases, it is literally impossible to go to a more relaxed, family oriented, welcoming environment than a pitt game.. Which kind of sucks to be honest.. It would be like comparing the bar environment at applebees on a Thursday afternoon to mardi gras..

I am just viewing this through the prism of a football game that brings back mostly fond memories and is good for the region.
Because we are here to play a football game and talk about it, not try a case that has been tried or will be tried. That is a different subject.
From reading this board, I'd think it would be Pitt fans fault if they are all in with the in your face Joe Knew stuff and problems happen. If you're out there in their face arguing about what Joe knew or didn't know all day, Pitt won't be blameless.

There's a subset of Pitt fans that think and talk about the whole PSU/Sandusky scandal ENDLESSLY, 24/7/365, that come to this message board and DISCUSSS IT DAILY for the last 5 years NON-STOP, totally OBSESSED with it! This. Hell, I'm going to be tailgating with a couple of PSU fans that are friends/family (along with about 45 of my regular Pitt tailgate partners).
There are bad fans on both sides, and I can tell some on this board are going to be the ones starting the trouble and acting like the victims.

My tailgate will consist of a mixture of my friends who went to Pitt and PSU. The only way that I expect to have any problems are from drunk/obnoxious people (regardless of fan base).
It is not "someone', it is "everyone". You guys really don't care about the game, I am guessing because of history of losing big games, so this is a convenient way to insulate yourselves from the inevitable. Am I right?

I'm not upset at any slight against PSU, if you look closely I'll throw in a child molester joke here and there as appropriate. I am actually slighting the obsessed, making fun of them for having no life to the point that they are searching for articles on Jerry Sandusky DAILY!
