Talking about players to watch. Sounds very high on Mac B. He's looking for running back by committee... Excited to see what Pugh can do. Good to hear a Pitt guy on the radio.

His players to watch this spring - Maddox; Hamlin; Clark; Wirginis; and Mac B. Said these guys need to have a big spring.

Said that Tyler Palko was a great leader.

I also noticed that Kevin Gorman has been on the Fan some lately. Good to hear some new voices on there. I tend to flip around the dial when I'm driving and if I hear Dorin, I keep listening - versus going to NPR or music...

Who is Mac B?

He talked pitt fb for a good hour. Is very high on coaching staff. Said it's a different vibe then when he was there and loves they way players respond to coaching staff. Said "it's just different there now."

Said he was honorary capt. at clemson game and said he was impressed with the overall attitude of team/coaches.

If you think about it that was after a pretty bad stretch for them but he made it seem like the team was still positive and focused.
