If we are playing to compete in the big leagues of the acc and NCAA,we have a opportunity to hire Pitino. I am not saying that would be my choice but let’s face it this program is at its lowest point. Pitino would put us back in the game. Going the other way it could take a while to be average. We don’t have a team as of today Pitino has the experience of doing the exact rebuild at Kentucky. To me at this point either in or out. If out then the decision to be a middle of the pack team will have been made for us.

After missing on Hurley, Nevada coach Musselman seems the next best that Pitt could do.

Then after him, candidates drop down a significant level (as I have no idea if they’re even interested in Miller). So after Musselsman, it’s Oates and then a drop down to Schmidt, Clueless?

Our realistic options aren’t too great rn & I doubt the administration & AD would have the balls to hire Pitino (& he would need to be safe to hire too even before that) but I’m not totally against it!

Then consider Pitt out. It’s never gonna happen.

The season for these guys has been over for a while.
If anything was going to happen it would have happened or we'd be hearing rumors.
They should have been targets early on but it looks like they're on interested.

Bad press has a tendency to scare prospects away and since this search has gone all over the place the media is having a field day with PITT basketball!

This search is all over the road / map like a drunk driver hitting guardrails.

Matta? , Miller?, Crean ?, Schmidt, etc, Hurley never wanted PITT, etc.

No focus!

Go PITT & CSU Rams!

out - Pitino is out of a job due to a long history of indiscretions, not one. He's one candidate I don't want to ever hear associated with our job.

Lyke won’t be able to tell MSU in her final interview before taking that job.....

“I stood up to extreme pressure to hire Miller/Pitino but my high standards of conduct were more important than anything”

Ain’t gonna happen

Next.
