Fede game time decision

Is this where you incorrectly try to be a doctor after failing to understand bracketology and scheduling and tell us you know how a 7 foot knee feels and how long it should keep him out?

Yes. I never completed medical school. So I dont fully understand knee injuries. If you bang your knee or fall on your knee, how bad would it have to be to keep you out of a game 5 days later? Seems really unlikely that he wont play.

Without structural damage, what kind of bruise would cause you to miss an important game 5 days later?
A bone bruise on the knee would not be great. I had one in college playing soccer, was able to play the next day but I was limping the whole game (I’m a goalkeeper so didn’t need to run much)… then 2 days after that I could at least jog.

After a few days, i was able to be 100% for the most part but had significant swelling after every practice/game or if my knee received any direct contact with a person or the ground.

I have to imagine the hardness of a basketball court compared to a grass field would make this riskier on a court.

Unless you’re 7 foot, you have no idea how it would feel. You’d think that would go without saying… but…

He came back in the game, right? So it’s more of a Pain management issue.

But not hard to imagine how pain on a 7’ frame can make you less effective.

Gee , I thought you know everything about these kind of things because you really came down hard on Hugley .

And you’re right once again , a healthy Hugley certainly wouldn’t help Pitt tomorrow !

I “came down” on Hugley because he’s a below average basketball player. He was last year, and this year he was even worse.

No, a healthy John Hugley makes tomorrow an impossibility to win. Clogging the lane for JB Nelly and Nike’s drives would ruin PITT’s game plan. You really are a simple person

And you are a person whose dead wrong . Hopefully we won’t get to see Pitt play tomorrow without Fede ,but if we do thinking that Hugley wouldn’t help is almost as dumb as you saying last year that Nike was of no value to that team .

Hugley’s advanced conference stats from last year show he’s an average offensive player and a bad defensive player. Per 100 possessions, Fede is much better offensively and defensively.

Pitt needs a healthy Fede. Not some fictional player Hugley never was

Pitt will win even if Fede isn’t 100%
I think we shoot lights out tomorrow

No doubt they need a healthy Fede , but that sounds pretty iffy right now . Maybe you’d rather have the twins in there , but I’d rather have Big John with the twins as backups .

I’m not even bullish on thr twins but yeah I would. Much better defenders

I agree with your premise that this Pitt team as constructed is better with Fede over Hugley. However if Fede isn't available I'm not sure you can argue you would rather have the twins vs Hugley. It would be on Capel to have Hugley get out of the lane. Hugley can shoot the three so they would have to guard him.

Hugley is also a more talented player than Fede if it's truly who is more skilled. In shape Hugley dominated All ACC Bacot last year.
