But then Keyshawn Johnson and “Swaggu” Marcus Spears say Kenny is a turnover machine… WHAT???
Kenny NEVER threw 10 picks in a season. He only fumbled 3 times in 2021.
Where are these morons getting these stats? There’s many more points to make about the QB class and Kenny’s pocket presence or whatever, but him being turnover prone is not an issue. Gunslinger? Yes. But Willis 12 picks, Howell 9, Ridder 8, Kenny had less than everyone but Corral who never throws the ball past 5 yards.
So dumb.
*Sidebar - frankly I think it was a reach. There were really good options still on the board at 20. No QB had gone yet, Linderbaum still on the board, most other offensive players were all gone but I’m not worried about that, but on defense? Different story.
Devonte Wyatt, Jermaine Johnson, Devin Lloyd, Dax Hill, Kaiir Elam, Nakobe Dean, Quay Walker, and more still on the board
Should’ve either A) taken BPA and traded back into the late 1st
or B) traded with the Chiefs like the Patriots did for 29, 94, and 121 - cuz we need the draft capital in one of the deepest, least top heavy drafts in a long time.
I know for a FACT the Chiefs offered something similar to move up. Bad strategy by the Steelers. Pray for Kenny
