Game pants?

Forgive me if this is already known by most of you...But what the h#ll was the sideline reporter talking about last night? I can't replicate his southern draw here, but he said something to the effect that Coach wanted to get the team new "game pants".I have to assume this is why we don't wear the gold anymore? Did he try to get new ones and couldn't get it done?

One of the things that numerous players said to Duzz when he first met with them individually is that they did not like the way the gold pants fit and they wanted/needed new gold game pants. Due to the way Nike conducts business, it takes a year to get these things ordered. So, Duzz tried to accomplish many of the things the players wanted (players lounge, better nutrition, etc.,) but he couldn't get new pants....

Speaking of football britches.... Carolina's, with the Alexander Julian argyle patern in the Carolina blue, were sweet. Glad to see they are sticking with their unique blue and abandoned the black duds. You knew at a glance they were UNC. Script aside, Pitt's unis are...meh.
