I agree.

After the last two difficult losses this one could have really started things going badly.

A couple interesting statistical tidbits. We actually outrebounded Georgia Tech in the second half, 18-17.

We only had one turnover in the first half and two in the second. A 10-3 difference in turnovers makes up for a lot of other problems.

They got a number of offensive rebounds by swatting the ball out to their guards that were already retreating to play defense. There were usually 2 or 3 Pitt players and one GT player. The GT player was not even trying to secure the ball-just swatting.

I love your optimism but, “should” is a word that should not be used too often when talking about Pitt athletics, especially Pitt Basketball.

Though, I sure hope you are correct.
