Yes, telling Nelly he was gonna be the starting PG, landing Dior Johnson, losing Dior Johnson for a suspension then subsequently benching Nelly for a kid 5 years younger who hasn’t practiced will go over swimmingly. Have you ever even been a part of a team?

Nelly is new to the team - he’s not some entrenched and beloved dude .
The whole roster is transfers and freshmen .
Buddy you’re making the wrong argument if you think a more talented frosh supplanting the transfer pg who isn’t good enough will cause turmoil .

I have not stated that he is "not guilty". You have stated that he is guilty with no actual facts to back your opinion. He may be guilty and if he is, he should be gone. That part we can agree on.

I never said he was guilty. I said he's a felon or at least accused of a felony. And that these types of charges against the athletes have a way of disappearing or being reduced to a slap on the wrist. I also think the girl's version of the story needs to be out there for all to hear. Don't give either of them the benefit of the doubt. That innocent until proven guilty stuff doesn't seem to be a part of our justice system very much.

Also, just because a jury would find him innocent doesn't mean he's innocent. Only not guilty, which is entirely different. It's legality vs. reality.

Jorge Diaz Graham has been 1 of our best players each of the last 2 games, to the surprise of probably everybody. Our frontcourt looks decent, and Ive maintained that thought since game 1.



Our guards look Stallings level bad. And I might be giving too much credit to the guards on Capel's team this year. Man, what a disappointment.

I think the guards will pick It up.

i think Burton can play. I think Cummings is pressing. i think Elliott not at 100%. Nike knocking the rust off.

I even think Santos will contribute.

Will know by the game at the Cuse. Nelly will have to accept a lesser scoring role than he envisioned.

No one can really know for certain how bad or not bad this team will eventually become. So far there have been too many injury disruptions (plus the Dior Johnson thing) to have a team that plays with consistency and team work. Too much 1 on 5 play and too many starting lineup changes to really know as much as many think they know.

How much different might the outlook be had we won vs VCU and were 2-2 ? ? ?

No one can really know for certain how bad or not bad this team will eventually become. So far there have been too many injury disruptions (plus the Dior Johnson thing) to have a team that plays with consistency and team work. Too much 1 on 5 play and too many starting lineup changes to really know as much as many think they know.

Do you have any sense of reality?
Do you actually watch the games and comprehend what is happening?

Or do you only look at Sagarin and Pomeroy all day? Outlook. This team and program is in shambles. Nothing good about it. The twins are avg 7 points against absolute trash teams the last 2 games and everyone is acting like they are the next Wilt and Hakeem. Jesus

Yes. I have watched the games (live tv and/or tv replays). And, yes the team is currently a mess. But, also, I contend that between the Dior event, Hugley's injury, Jeffress injury and even Burton missing the last game with an injury; they are playing a lot worse at the moment than they might have been without injuries and Dior's trouble.

Do I believe this means they can be a really good team that could contend for the post season? The answer is no.

Do I believe they can be considerably better than we have seen so far? Then my answer is yes. Will that happen? I surely don't know.

My bottom line is that I believe they can be better than what we have seen so far. That will require having Hugley and everyone else 100% healthy and the whole group learning to play consistently together as a team (vs the way too much 1 vs 5 garbage we have been seeing).

They clearly have not been playing at the level they should be capable of talent wise if they were fully healthy and well coached.

Hinson, Hugley, Burton need to be where the ball ends up.
