There are always rare exceptions Bob. Souf is right. This guy is going to destroy Pitt hoops. This is a horrible hire on every level.
You can be a Pitt fan you could have absolutely hated Jamie ,but this is a stake in the heart of Pitt basketball. This needed to be an uplifting hire after pushing JD out the door. I was disappointed that JD jumped ship I actually lost some respect for him giving up on his players I apologize to him I understand now . He might even get to see a quality non-conference team play at the Pete. At least Stallings will play some real competition.
Given that we could have a sizeable number of transfers and incoming recruits defect, I fully expect Pitt to be a disaster in the near future.
We are going to suck and hopefully, Gallagher will fire Barnes and Stallings when that happens.
