We all pretty much can tell by watching the team that there are chemistry issues. JC has hinted to this as well. So not surprised by the comments from Hamilton.
So who is/are the bad apple(s)???
When recruiting character should be focused on as well as talent and actually understanding how to play the game. Character guys will continue to get better and better because they will work hard to improve their game.

Idk what to read about this. People get pissed when they lose, especially when they lose a lot. Doesn't necessarily mean there are toxic personalities inside the locker room.
Isnt it obvious?
I was told this team has heart and character because they make runs in the 2nd Half after they get blown out in the 1st. Its not easy to get blown out of the water and then make a run when the other team takes their foot off the gas.

It wasn't just last night. He shared similar thoughts after NCST too.Interesting comments. I don't read the PP-G so I wasn't aware that Hamilton was selected as the team spokesperson after last night's game. Does anyone know if any other players were interviewed and if they had the same things to say?
I've said this before this is exactly why they coaches or players shouldn't agree to interviews after losses.
Its almost always a bad idea.

Hamilton was ignored or getting tough love most of the season.
For the last 2 games he is the voice of the team? Strange.
I think the thing about a guy like Hamilton making these comments is that he's been around...and around winning programs, at that. I think a guy that was at Wichita State under Gregg Marshall for a couple years knows what it takes to win selflessly as a team.BTW no one is saying Hamilton is a good player because he’s not as he’s limited and doesn’t have much skill at all. But he accepts his role and plays hard for the most part. I recall earlier in the year JC said Hamilton needs to rebound better. Hamilton went on to lead the team in rebounds per minute by a wide margin (a rebound per 3.7 min which is a real good number).
In addition Hamilton has made comments that he himself has to play a lot better. Similar to what JWF did last year. We need the more talented players on this team as well as coaches to accept responsibility as well.
Really this is interesting.I believe they are required by the ACC to do interviews...

Good luck with that.Leadership is going to get better — these young guys never had any real senior role models. JWF was a good guy, but he didn’t have much experience in the ACC either. I hope to see a more mature team as Capel’s first class becomes upperclassmen next season.
I guess there was no chance next years leaders who were this years problems wanted to start to show some leadership characteristics this season?Leadership is going to get better — these young guys never had any real senior role models. Leaders usually don't show up 8 months later after a summer off, leaders are usually leaders, and show up all the time.
I think Capel will pull this mess together but I doubt next years team leaders come out of this group except for maybe Champanie. He has potential maybe if the can get past the bad boys on the team!
We certainly know what isn't happening - like winning or even looking like we know what we are doingI feel like people are making a lot of unfair conclusions about this team — we don’t really know what’s happening

I don't want to overly criticize, I just don't know that leadership can be developed in life. It's almost always intrinsic. Maybe you can learn through example, but to your point, who is bringing that example? Brown isn't that kind of guy. I feel like Murphy used to try, but his teammates don't seem to pay any attention to him. As he's played less and less effectively, I've noticed he doesn't seem as vocal or demonstrative out there.I feel like people are making a lot of unfair conclusions about this team — we don’t really know what’s happening
He was definitely being critical of his teammates. I’m glad somebody had the balls to say something.Reporter probably commented on Hamilton's effort after the six game losing streak and not playing much. Doubtful if he was talking about any teammates.

I could understand a coach having to make some comments but players?
Can of worms!
Maybe. But they have to have some leadership qualities already and more of a team first mindset then they do now. Players don't emotionally mature just cuz they get older. Many many examples of that.Leadership is going to get better — these young guys never had any real senior role models. JWF was a good guy, but he didn’t have much experience in the ACC either. I think you're right. His brother went elsewhere...not an indictment in itself, but combined with circumstantial evidence, I tend to agree. Why won't anyone say his name? Fine, I'll say it, TREY MCGOWENS!!!!
