How could we be so unprepared for the weather?

First of all there is no way we are this bad nor are they that good. Our inability to adjust to the weather in my opinion made this game so out of hand. Narduzzi I'm a supporter but wth? We were embarrassed on hall of fame induction night. We gotta win next week to wash this taste out quick.

I agree 100%. It looked like there was no backup plan. It looked like we had no game plan . Lots of apprehension and the team tightened up

I have to agree with you that play call was awful and the decision showed panic to me. On 4th and 1 maybe call that. I feel bad for the defense I thought they played with a lot of heart most of 3 quarters.

I think the punter dropping the ball at the end of the first half and PSU scoring a touchdown was the end. It demoralized me and I wasnt even playing, you could sense the air coming out of the balloon.

But talent wise Pitt doesnt belong on the same field with PSU and that was the main problem.

That was my sense to. Particularly with picket, he got shook and was done for the game. But offensively, watson had to have had more in the game plan to build off of the Run game. Roll outs, waggles, screens, play action quick hitters.

Mid third, Pickett should have been pulled for Towne. To protect Pickett physically if nothing else. But to let him step back and watch. Also frankly to see if the older guy could have stood in just a little better, and actually gotten the ball downfield to a receiver or two.

No illusion of any possible comeback from doing it, Towne, or Patti or George Jr or whatever, are not better and not displacing Pickett. But just because the game had degenerated to a disaster, and there was nothing to gain, no 'lesson to learn', no 'character to build' at that point.

Just additional criticism to heap on a terrible performance by the coaches.
