To submit a request for a waiver to transfer and claim your were run off when you weren't?

That makes absolutely not sense. It defies belief.

If Pitt helped in the wording of the waiver request, I am sure they would have strongly advised against including any such wording.

Miami is lying. No doubt about it.

The wording of the waiver doesn’t say that
They are lying
Bills pulled the receipts and called them on it

Lying and stupid too. Nike isn't playing for Miami in any way shape or form anymore. Getting caught publicly in this lie then still refusing the waiver could be suicide for recruiting. Who is going to want to play for a coach who is a vindictive liar?

You do know that the Jay Bilas story on ESPN's web site includes PDFs of the original wavier request, Miami's response to the request, and Pitt's appeal of the rejection, right?

We already know for a fact that the waiver request made absolutely no mention of being run off. Or, well, those of us who took the time to read the document know that.

IF the NCAA has any credibility, Nike will be granted immediate eligibility to play at Pitt. AND Miami of OH will be sanctioned for lying and attempting to deceive the NCAA.

We'll see what actually happens

I think most people reading what I wrote understood that I was not saying that he did that.

I was saying no one with a brain would do that. Anyone claiming something like that was done, was asking to be exposed.

I think most people reading what you wrote understood that you didn't know the whole story.

Because otherwise, what was the point? "Hey, if this thing that didn't happened did happen then whoa boy, that would really be dumb of the people who didn't do what I didn't say that they did."
