Wasn't like Tennessee was playing a dog. App State is a good football team and UT was getting a lot of hype (too much IMO) going into the season.

Ohio State crapped the bed against Va Tech a couple of years ago and won a NC. Sometimes you don't have to defend a loss very hard either.
