Im watching Pitts big men continue to miss wide open shots within 2 feet of the basket. It is so frustrating.

I really like the twins. Justin welcomes contact in the paint and is a big time finisher on the inside. He puts the ball on the floor and finishes strong with contact. Floaters, back to basket, layups, dunks, midrange. Our bigs cant finish wide open 1 foot away. Ive watched a good bit of video on the twins, I like both of them alot

Justin would in my opinion be a major zone killer being a strong 6'7 power forward playing in the middle. He takes contact constantly and he finishes constantly with contact. And his ball skills would be really good for a pf. He plays center for Bishop but can dribble and pass and plays alot bigger than he is. I really like Drumgoole who can shoot. And Justin who is a real finisher in the paint and loves being physical would really impact our team next year. We need this kid really bad, he would really help us in my opinion and would be a big impact.

I’m more frustrated by the 2nd half points given up.

Well when you have as short a bench as we do and have guys in foul trouble you have to play more zone and that opens the 3-ball up--especially when you aren't really long up top like the Cuse.
Wow. I actually meant 2nd chance points. Lol. That was a typo. All of those offensive rebounds were tough to take. Yet at the end of the game, we out rebounded then.

Yup....all the 2nd chance points we gave them in the first half hurt. We should’ve had the lead at the half.

How much is positioning versus size though? I recall them showing a replay of Toney being more out of position than lacking size. I’m hopeful some of these things can be corrected with coaching and strength and conditioning.
