Really? Go look back to my posts after the VaTech and UNC games. I didn't rip our staff in any of my posts. The other team made plays that we couldn't stop. Sometimes you guys forget that the other team has a coaching staff and the other team is also stacked with D1 talent. If anything, I rip the previous 2 staffs for not recruiting defense.
Right -- that's a different situation because OSU had something to play for -- getting to the title game.
PSU had nothing to play for except pride and bragging rights today. But they lost a tough, close game which will likely leave them top 5 going into next season.
I would have much rather they had been pummeled, embarrassed and completely outclassed.

I'm the one on here who posts that says get rid of all out of conference games. Play 11 conference games and then a conference championship game then do a real playoff of conference champs + 3 wild cards. Playing wvu or psu doesn't do anything for me, as no championships are on the line. You'll build real rivals in the ACC when the ACC title is on the line.

The game had a direct effect on PSU's championship hopes later in the year. If they beat Pitt, then they play in the championship playoffs and not Ohio State.
