I wouldve been bitter if Pitt had lost to PSU this year. But since we defeated you, and kept you from playing for a championship, I'm very much at ease.
After all... I'm not on your board after every Pitt game trying to find validation from PSU fans.
Want to talk about bitter? You've been on this site practically daily since 9/10.... because *YOU* are the one bitter over the loss to your "non-rival" that kept you out of the playoffs.
Like I said... . If I was spending time on PSU's board an hour after Pitt just played in a NY6 bowl, I should have my head examined.

That's what a rivalry is about.
When I was at Pitt in the 80s.... going 11-1, but losing to PSU (as in 1981), was as painful a loss as comes.
You don't understand the concept of rivalry. That's ok. You keep patting them on the back for a "good game" in which they choked away a two TD lead in the final 1/8 of the game.
Why can't we do both? I'm a die hard Pitt fan. Was at the bowl game and the loss sucked. I'm not supposed to take any pleasure in seeing a rival from another conference go down in a great game? Are we supposed to keep blinders on and only pay attention to our team? This argument makes no sense.
Actually they had a 15 point lead at one point in the 3rd Q, too: 42 - 27. Gave up a 2 point conversion.
Quit posting like enjoying PSU misfortune and enjoying Pitt are an either or please.
If you wanna take the "high road" go for it but quit acting like loving a PSU loss makes anyone here less of a Pitt fan for it.

BWI is constantly filled with threads about how much PSU posters despise the Big 10 and hope every other school in the conference loses. Same thing for any time Pitt loses a game.

Well, it shows Clemson may have beaten them as badly as Ohio State but I still think the CFB Committee should have chosen PSU for the Playoffs, others can differ.
Now the PSU Fans are talking about how they lost 2 Games by 3 points after being behind and all of a sudden had Pitt Awakening, but still lost to Pitt and beat Big Pretend Cupcakes as seen in Bowl the games results?
With that said, Pitt will be breaking in a New OC, QB, & TE and needs numerous improvements on the Defense,and Penn State will be all back, ranked high, and fun to watch again. i will give the Game a Toss Up Win for PSU at Beaver. By next year PSU will have 38 Four and Five Star Players up from 27 this year.
it good to see USC & PSU back up in the rankings now Pitt has to join them in the coming years.
