2006. Florida, LSU, UCLA and George Mason. Happened 1 other time since going to 64 but don’t know when or who.
Totally torn here. I have Kansas in a pool that could win me $800, but I really want Miami to win.
Actually 2011. UConn 3 beat Butler an 8 (gee wonder what #1 seed they beat on their way), Kentucky a 4 and VCU an 11.
In 1980 (still 48) was the last time before that. What is weird, just two years after 2006, all 4 #1 seeds made it.
If you look through history, the Final 4 usually consists of Two #1's, a #2 and a 3 seed.
I love it, but still annoying celebrating like they won the title after each hoop then followed by all the gray hairs in the stands doing the same.
It usually is. It is great, the first weekend and such and then a story like St Peters, but when it comes to winning 6 games in a row against high quality competition, the blue bloods usually rise to the top. And yeah, I now consider Nova now a blue blood also. So this will be a really blue blood Final 4 despite all of the upsets.
CBS puts all this money into the tournament, but then they don’t even televise the championship. Duke vs Kansas with this being Coach K’s last game is about as good as it gets. Doesn’t make much sense to put it on TBS.
For as fun as this tournament has been, I couldn't find a Final Four of Duke, UNC, Villanova, and Kansas to be any less appealing. I just have zero interest in that.
I don't mind the higher-seeded teams advancing when those teams are non usual suspects (e.g. Baylor last year). But I'm so sick of watching the aforementioned, Kentucky, Michigan State, etc.

Ģreat season by Miami but their undisciplined play caught up with them today.
Looked like they read the press clippings trying to make every play a highlight.
Kansas, was the better team but Miami let them off the hook with a series of bad shots and should have a bigger lead at the half.
In this second game North Carolina has all the pressure against St.Peters should be an interesting game.

If we get a Saint Peter’s-Villanova national championship, we ought to just move it out of New Orleans and into the Garden.
This is going to be a blowout. St Peters I think realizes where they are. Like I said, for a 15 seed to beat a 2, then 7/10, then a 3/6 and now Carolina....no way.
If the Final is Kansas vs North Carolina, I’d rather watch My 600 lb. Life🤣.
St Pete’s missing a lot of uncontested layups. They are tight and looking rattled for the first time. Can’t do that if they’re gonna have any chance to make this an interesting game against a vastly superior team. Looking like the stage finally got to big for them, as it eventually always does for Cinderella.
Couldn't you say the same thing about Turner in the years that CBS gets the Final Four/Championship? They put all that money into it and don't even get to televise the championship.
