If Pitt Could Get Nino Down to 184...Look Out !

I'm not sure how much Nino weighs, but he certainly doesn't look as Big as Stout. If there was any way to get Nino down to 184 and make room for Stout in the line-up, Pitt could easily be looking at a Top 10 team this year at the NCAAs. With a number of 6 year wrestler, it would be nice to see Pitt go all in this season and go with what I think is the best line-up.

Probably not happening but I like your thoughts. I would love to know In a wrestle off, how close Nino vs. Stout is.

Nino is better at 197. He has an advantage with his athleticism at 97 but he is more average at 184. The move up was the right one for him and the team

Yeah not that Nino was bad at 184 but he has been better at 197. If that lineup got you a trophy I’d definitely consider but besides some perception top 10 doesn’t do much (they finished 11th in 2021)

I’d imagine if he could still make 184 he would have been there already considering 197 is a much deeper weight class than 184.

That and I think the lineup would have been much better last year with Harvey at 174 Nino at 184 and Cooley at 197.
