James Randle had a breakout sophomore campaign with Florida’s Mainland High School hauling in 22 passes for 448 yards with six receiving touchdowns to lead his squad. Offers have flown the four-star’s way from Miami, Tennessee, Iowa State, Florida, and Pittsburgh among others. Visits have been taken with the Gators and Panthers with return trips to both programs being set up.
Randle spoke about his overall recruiting process, “It is going good so far. I have been talking to schools every other day; it has been going good.”
The June visit hanging with Pat Narduzzi and his staff has Randle wanting to visit again.
“I went to Pittsburgh, that was my first visit that I went on, and I went to Florida,” Randle said. “I will probably go to Pittsburgh again and to Florida and Florida State games.”
Up to date stats have not been posted for Mainland, but through five games Randle hauled in 19 passes for 374 yards with four scores. He has a passing touchdown on the stat sheet and has taken three punts back for 33 yards.
