Intermat preseason rankings released

Intermat just put out their preseason rankings and there are a lot of panthers represented. Starting with the team rankings, Pitt is ranked 27 as a tournament team and 15 as a dual team.

They have the following wrestlers ranked
125-Camacho 32
133- Santaniello 33
141- Matthews 8
157- Keslar 28
165-Holden Heller 13
174- Luca 24
184- Reece Heller 12
197- Stout 18
Heavy- Pitzer 9

Obviously a lot can change, but on paper that’s 9 out of 10 qualifiers.

Pitt will be a much better dual team than a tournament team, not sure I see no more than one or two AAs in that lineup.

Pitzer both Hellers and Matthews should be legit AA contenders. I think Stout will be next year. Luca is my pick for the guy to make a big jump

Solid lineup in my opinion that will improve over the season. Very young team that will be fun to watch over next few years. Cant complain about preseason ranking but I see many of the guys improving over these numbers. They will need to earn it.

Camacho just missed qualifying for NCAAs last year
Santaniello new to lineup and will earn a ranking
Matthews one of the best in the country.
Solomon saying he is starter and can be top 20.
Keslar new starter and will build off last year
Heller missed AA by 2 matches
Luca solid season last year and did well against ranked opponents.
Heller him and his brother both solid pickups for team last year
Stout a beast that will battle against top competition
Pitzer can’t wait to see the work he put in to offseason.
