This can only be welcomed news in comparison to the Cyclones going to the Elite 8 or even the Final Four... here's to hoping!
 
i would think that now or never is when hoiberg jumps to NBA. Two years as a top seed and two epic failures.

Why? What's the connection between ISU and Pitt? Pitt also usually failed as a high seeded power 5 team in the NCAAs. ISU losing doesn't in any way validate Pitt's, system, since Pitt has been a usual failure in the big dance.
 
If Hoiberg goes then we would seem to be the front-runner for Diallo. I think that would be the main connection.
