So isn’t Lowe somehow related to the Lucas family? If so, him wearing a Miami uniform next year seems plausible. I, for one, wouldn’t even put up a fight to keep him. I think it’s clear that Beebah is going to end up being a better shooter and more efficient point guard in this offense next year.

I thought John Lucas III (the one who was on that Oklahoma State team that bounced us in the 2-3 matchup back in the day) was his stepdad.

I honestly think there is going to be a pretty big learning curve with Cummings. He plays a little sloppy right now. But I don't want any part of Lowe next season, even though I acknowledge he can be a valuable asset in the right situation.

Yeah I would expect Lowe to be at the U next year. The sad part is, I no longer know if that is a good or bad thing. He has become Xavier Johnson.

After some Googling, Lowe is the 71-year old Hall of Famer John Lucas’ godson. John Lucas’ son Jai is the new HC at Miami. So yeah, that seems like a potential spot for Lowe.

Basketball is tough to evaluate sometimes. If Auburn plays the worst mid-major in the country tomorrow, that team is still going to score 50 or 60 points. So an individual player on it might have 20 of those, and it could be hyped up as "So and So dropped 20 on the #1 team in the country." But so much of it depends on shot volume, fit within an offense, who is defending you, etc.

I do think Lowe could thrive in a lesser role, only because I've seen him do it. But he is not the guy I want with the ball in his hands more than anyone else on my team.

I still say he goes to the SEC. I would like him to return. I think he has a chance to be All-American type good one day. But, as some poster on Pantherlair said (that sounds weird doesnt it), if Lowe & Corhen are a package, he'll drive them both to the airport. First and foremost, we have to ensure that Corhen doesn't return.
