They were booing Jeff after giving Jason an applause then booed what they thought was a missed call at the end of the game. No one cares about Jason Capel
Who cares what he said. If we get to the NCAAT, Jason Capel can say and do whatever he wants. I think everyone is WAY too hard on him. He's the "player's coach" and every time I listen to new player interviews they always talk about him more than the other coaches.
I can tell you from a very good source he doesn’t do much actual coaching. He is pretty lazy.
This staff has been crucified by this board the last so many years, and deservedly so. However, the entire staff should be lauded for what they have built this year, including Jason.

The last time Jason did this UNC went on like a 13-1 tear and loss in the finals while pitt collapsed. It’s classless and stupid to say anything about a crowd who doesn’t care you’re on PITT’s bench and wasn’t booing you
I don't like the staff's style and this stuff is why, but if they win really who cares. i prefer they act with more dignity but its the way of the world today.
I’ve had nothing but good interactions with Jason and his family. It is bizarre that some of you always look for something negative even when things are going well.
Listen to the press conference. The whole thing is over a tweet UNC sent out before the game and it appears UNC fans have treated Jason poorly over the years.

The best thing Jeff Capel said in that whole interview was that he isn't on social media. Yes Jeff, stay off of social media. All it is is garbage and will do nothing but cause you trouble. Keep it above board and clean.
Last time jeff was on social media during the riots when trump was president he liked a tweet Cory Alexander sent out. Saying sometimes violence is necessary to prove a point. I like Jeff but that was a horseshit comment but Corey and like by Jeff I had floor seats at the time they were losing all the time and now we had to hear about tweets and whatever he was trying to say. . I think he was told to try to stay off. Wasn’t helping especially when he was losing.
He was standing up for his brother! Having two brothers, I understand where he’s coming from.

I understand that. If you look at the tweet, you’d have to really look hard into that to think it was about Jason. Seems he think any boo in the crowd is towards him.

I don’t understand how this is a ton of disrespect towards Jason? Because the son of an assistant coach is wearing his number? Did he expect it to be retired beside MJ’s number?
