Joey Porter Jr. Sucks

Yep, he objectively sucks.

I honestly thought he showed a lot of promise in his rookie season, but now he's back to reminding me of why I didn't want to draft him... which has absolutely nothing to do with where he went to school. Just never seemed very "sticky" to me.
It seems like all of the Steeler rookies that show promise regress the next season. The only rookie that has looked like he's playing at a higher level is Herbig - and they don't play him as much.

.... like PFF.
Yep. The same house that told everyone that Myles Garrett was the DPOY and the greatest thing since sliced bread last year when he might not have had one sack after week 8? Have you ever heard NFL personnel guys talk about PFF? If you did, you wouldn’t be using it as a proof source to support your agenda. Is it useful? At times it can be. But only fools use it as gospel.

Gospel? Lol.

Simply a data point to confirm what we see on the field every week. If he was an UDFA or a 6th round pick who played like this- ok, but he was taken in a first round slot.

It’s a data point that confirms your bias. And that’s fine. He’s a starter in the league and will be continue to be. We would all love the 32nd pick in the draft to be a star, he’s not, and there’s nothing abnormal about that.

So let me better understand this, Avocado Toast being the 160th best CB in the league accord to PFF is totally bunk because it doesn't support your belief and agenda that he isn't totally ass on field? Which he is. Lol. Ok.

No. It doesn’t support the opinion of NFL coaches and front offices around the league.

Which other teams drafted and are starting him? Hint: everyone else passed on him in RD1.

Now you are just making up stuff because reality isn't matching up with your opinion.

What are you talking about? No one took him in round 1 and it appears they were all right not to do so. He had a consensus 1st round grade. How far beyond #32 do you think he would have fallen? Now you’re being really silly.

You just said, "No. It doesn’t support the opinion of NFL coaches and front offices around the league. "

There's zero proof that you know the opinions of how NFL coaches and front offices view Avocado Toast.

The only data point you can use, is every other team passed on him in the first round. That's it. That also doesn't mean any of them would have taken him in the 2nd, 3rd, etc.

They are probably glad that he's the stillers problem and not theirs.

It’s cute that on this team you think he’s a problem. But hey, he’s your obsession and not mine. I have no more energy to discuss this subject that’s an issue for you but not a top 20 issue for his employer. I’m checking out.

Haha. I have no reason to tap out considering the guy was a problem for this defense in essentially one game this year. And it would be a fun exercise if we were having a beer to discuss and list out the steeler issues ahead of Peazy. But because there are so many steeler issues that are much more significant, it’s way too laborious to type and list them here and I’m just not that interested, whereas you are. So if you want to take the dub, congrats. If he’s as bad as you say he is, he will be out of the league in two years. I say he will get a new contract and continue to be a starter for another 5 years. I’m usually right about these things and if time proves otherwise, I’ll take the L on it. But again, it’s not my obsession, it’s yours, and I’m bored with it.

You are arguing your own point about the 20 other reason the stillers are stuck in NFL purgatory. None of that has anything to do with Avocado Toast. Lol.

Granted, a lot of players get a 2nd contract based on their drafted position. He will get every opportunity to fail multiple times before thrown on the scrap heap.
