We are now seeing just how good he is now that he is surrounded by a supporting cast. Excellent court vision, takes care of the ball and distributes very well, shoots well, and is now showing the ability to get to the hoop.

If McConnell has a spot in the league, so will James.

D league or overseas to start.

Game managing PG's will always get a look. As somebody mentioned, McConnell made the league as a game manager -- this despite a worse shot. Kendall Marshall made it. Phil Pressey. Royal Ivey. Eric Maynor.

McConnell might not be the best comparison. He made the '15-'16 76ers, which might be the worst NBA team of all time. He got lucky by landing on this team, and then making the most of the opportunity. He'd have a much tougher road to haul elsewhere in the NBA. That said, he's certainly making the most of his opportunity. It's impressive - he's been earning it.

Robinson certainly has enough talent to make it in the NBA, but he will need to work very hard and have some breaks, just like McConnell. Here is to hoping it happens. If not, his game is well suited for Europe, and he could have a very long and lucrative career overseas.

The 2015-16 76ers would have a hard time making the NCAA tournament. TJM making that team doesn't mean a whole lot.

I like JRob. I like what he gives the Panthers, and I am scared to death right now when Damon Wilson is running the team.

But JRob isn't an NBA prospect. He'll be playing in Turkey or the Ukraine or Israel next year.

Whether or not J Rob ever plays in the league is certainly debatable, what isn't is that he's gonna make a lot a money playing a game for a living (maybe overseas ala Chevy) & that my friends ain't too shabby. H2P!

He still had 10 points, 9 assists, 7 rebounds and 3 steals.
Sounds good to me. James played with Lamar Patterson, and I have always been impressed with him, especially when they played at Mad Square Gardens against Tim Hardaway Jr. If the rest of the team had stepped up more, they would have won that game. Sorry but that's my opinion.

People have a hard time understanding that there are ways to be productive besides scoring.
Specific people do, for sure.

My all time favorite point guard is bobby Hurley.
He averaged 12.4 points per game mostly inflated from his senior season which he averaged 17 on his was to consensus 1st team all American status.

Too many people look at sports like fantasy football.

When James is in the game and has the ball, I'm confident he will make a good decision and help his team.
When he's not, I don't have that confidence.

Damon is going to be good , just not yet.

Sure it does. There are 100 other solid point guards who have come out of college in the last few years. Why don't they have a spot on the Sixers? He could be the worst player in the league. That means the powers that be think that he is better than any eligible point guard outside of the league.

89' just needs to hate on non-Pitt players to deflect from our players.. He can't take ANY criticism of this program without throwing a tantrum. It is sad...

Yeah, it's crazy some of the posts on here. The 76ers would make short work of Michigan St. As bad as they are, their roster is made up of players who were top shelf college players. Any college coach would kill to have that roster. Reminds me of the fools who think that Alabama could hang with the Cleveland Browns.
