He should have rolled right, but there was no pocket to step up into on that last throw.

The pressure has been so bad on him that maybe it is time for them to use more shotgun. I think it was PFF that said that he was pressured more the first two weeks on dropbacks than any QB in a long time. He certainly can be better but this offense is not making it easy on him.
I think he sneezed while calling the play. It was clearly an accident.
I think we might see a few more of those with Calvin Austin this season (assuming Pickett gets some of that time). He brings some much-needed explosiveness to this offense.

Pickett almost was taken out on that third down. They have to do a better job in protection. It is just very very bad.

Let’s put it this way—Duzzi was just touting Pitt’s 8 minute TD drive in the postgame presser the other day as though it was awesome.
A guy like Lincoln Riley would expect to have 3 TDs with that amount of offensive possession time.

It seems like they are letting guys play physical outside tonight on both sides. It was a good throw but Austin just could not get back to it with the defender on him.
I almost didn't want it after they didn't flag Minkah and then nailed Crosby for a personal foul. I'm sure I'll retract that statement in an hour and 45 minutes, though.
