Kenny Pickett

Other than the fumble he played really well. Needs to stop throwing off his back foot so much and make quicker decisions, but he’s improved a little each year and hopefully next season is his best yet.

I’m still not the biggest Pickett fan, but he played well tonight and won the game for us. It can’t help the poor kid’s confidence that his OC had zero faith in him last year, and that his WRs and TEs couldn’t catch this year. But hopefully the good to come out of this game is that he stepped up and made clutch plays to help win the game. That’s a confidence builder. H2P

Clutch in the 4th qtr. 10/13 for 140 yards and 2 TD’s
Whipple should have had more faith in Pickett, allowed him to throw more downfield. In a way, Whipple limited Pickett just like Watson did.

Whipple went way too conservative when we had the lead. The last series against Miami was the worst.

Pickett made two bad throws all year - the two ints against Miami.

For all the talk about an open QB competition I have felt and still feel that Pickett gives this team the best chance to win. No matter what Lyke says about stability Narduzzi is still far from secure in his position, if he had another QB that was better than Pickett right now he’d be playing.

He’s the closest thing this team has to a leader and while he’s never going to be a star they need him if they’re going to be more than a 6-8 win team next year.

Im not a Pickett hater, but he made a lot more than 2 bad throws this year. He has a bad habit of throwing off his back foot, and for some reason they call way too many plays with him rolling to his weak side.

He’s not great, but QB was not the biggest weakness on this years team, and won’t be next year either.

What I meant was he made two throws that were worse than the bad throws we might expect any winning QB to make.

You know, KENNY has nuts of steel. GLAD HE GOT MVP! THE KID HAS GUTS! If want him to have my back in a fight! HAIL TO PITT!

I have to give Kenny Pickett credit for one very important trait:. Bringing his team from behind to win multiple games. Kudos to him for that important stat.

Pickett put up some monster numbers yet still managed to frustrated me for much of the game. He runs himself into pressure too much, though he made a big time pass doing just that late in the fourth. The guy was clutch down the stretch yesterday. The pass and route combination for the winning touchdown pass was terrific.

I don’t know about anyone else, but i was highly confident that Pickett was going to lead us down the field on that last drive to at least send it to OT. And to me, that’s the most important sign that you have a good quarterback.

Exactly. There are bigger problems on the team than Pickett...
