Stallings managed to hold on to JDs three commits after they all asked for their releases ...It doesnt matter. The kids will say there are leaving now but when a new coach is hired they will reconsider. This is a process.
up next?
Some players will leave and some will be asked to leave. We will just have to wait and see.up next?
Well-Stallings managed to hold on to JDs three commits after they all asked for their releases ...
The hire is the key.
All the players appeared to like and support KS and losing their coach should make them question their future at Pitt . When a coach is announced then we’ll see who’s staying and whose going . Why speculate now .

Oh No !!!!! All the players from our 0- 19 ACC team are going to leave??? What a tragedy. Please terrible players stay. please,. please.up next?
Every player involved in a coaching change probably decides he’s leaving within 24 hours. That doesn’t mean they actual do leave.up next?
Kingsby is not a loss. He can be replaced easily. Stewart is a good bench reserve on a good ACC team, which is what we hope to have here now that Stallings is gone. I like Parker, but he can be replaced pretty easily. So can all of the players we now have, and probably see some marked improvement in performance.

The sky is falling!
Hoopsguy72 because he was assistant coach of one of the walkons. The first sentence isn’t really accurate. Stallings wasn’t beloved by the players, I’m not sure how that narrative got started.
Correct. Most will have very few options and that, more than anything, will probably decide whether they want to leave. Now, even if they want to stay, some will probably be told they shouldn't.Hopefully Pitt will not grant any player releases until a new coach has been hired and he has had a chance to talk to any player or recruit considering leaving. At that point, releases, if still desired by the player can be granted.
Didnt u say the buyout was done bro?up next?

No one is leaving Pitt because they loved stallings
From nowhere. This thread is the only place on the internet this has been brought up. It is certainly possible as I believe he was close with Stallings but based on the article I read about Parker in the PG a week or two ago he doesn't seem like someone to leave somewhere they feel comfortableWhere did the chatter about Stewart come from?
Saw thatParker Stewart tweeted out a link to a highlight video from this season with the caption "link in the bio" or something like that.
Felt like he was making it clear he's a free agent at this point.
It would be wise for these kids, at least the more talented ones, to just cool their jets for a month, finish their classes and let it play out to see who's hired. But, kids and parents these days what can you do?

His next tweet
“Tough times don't last, tough people do. My favorite practice quote of the day ✊“
I think you’re inventing context

Posted by Ryan Luther:You've circulated that assistant coach of a walk-on theory before. LOL. No.
I did say the players really liked Stallings, and they are very upset he's gone. That's an indisputable fact. I'm also not the only person who's saying this. Meyer has tweeted it, Batko has, and Saunders has.
I’m sure Mrs Stallings wrote that ! None of us know the man , like I’ve said hate his coaching , but hating the man and his family is uncalled for .
