KP's Rib Injury

This one is more concerning, imo.

The game is still a little too fast for Kenny. I think the throws like the one to Dionte in the end zone that he missed will eventually become almost automatic.

Not sure about this. By NFL standards, his arm strength is a little suspect. He's playing with a pea shooter compared to a lot of other QBs.
Careful saying such things on a pitt board. It will offend the masses.

The ceiling on Kenny was what kept him off many draft boards.

When I was at training camp during his rookie year he just seemed to have to work so much harder to make throws as opposed to the other NFL QB's.

But you know stache, Trubisky was serviceable when he was with other teams. Now he's terrible... Why? Even Landry Jones was better. I think there are other factors involved too...

1. OL is terrible. Need a new OL coach. Pay Munchak whatever he wants and bring him back.

2. The offensive game plan and play calling is awful. All I know is we have watched Roethlisberger, Tribisky and Pickett under this coordinator and they all looked bad.

3. The WR's can't seem to get space between them and the DB's. How many times have we watched Pickett or Trubisky thread the needle throwing into tight coverage?

Pickett is the best on the roster, but he's not a franchise QB. There are very few of those. He can be good if he has the right tools around him, much like Purdy.

Yeah, I understand the first 3. I would argue Trubisky was never very good. Pickett is better. I am holding out hope for Kenny, we need to see more though for sure.

I feel like we all forget KP8’s college career. He wasn’t gangbusters until his last year and took several years to develop into that guy.

The biggest mistake the Steelers made was taking Trubisky to replace Ben. He has never been that consistent guy. So, Kenny, in my opinion, should have had a few years to learn behind a starter. But, Mitch was bad and Kenny got put in before he was ready. And, obviously, Tomlin knows Kenny is better than Mitch. You can just see that based on yesterday’s game. But Kenny got tossed into the deep end and needed more seasoning.
Then he shouldn't have been a first round pick. He was supposed to be the most ready qb in the draft after 5 years.
