Thinking about Pitt hoops over the last 50 yrs made me think Jerome Lane’s backboard breaking moment has competition. Grinding through my memory there were team moments like BE Title at MSG and a few big ticket buzzer beaters like Fields against Duke or WVU but I’m talking an iconic moment. The argument has to start and end between the dunk or the taunt no?
Are there any other moments as iconic as those two and does “the taunt” replace “the dunk” to go to #1?
