We’re all Pitt fans, we’ve all been disappointed royally before, but as I said on here earlier this week, our schedule is incredibly easy moving forward. In fact, I’ll come out and say it, we are better than every team left on our schedule.
Delaware - obviously
Duke - Still some mystery around them, but no Daniel Jones and Bama throttled them
Syracuse - Killed by Maryland and Clemson; not the same team without Eric Dungey
Miami - Completely inept offense that should play into our D’s hands; struggled to beat Central Michigan yesterday
Georgia Tech - Still transitioning from the triple option; lost to an FCS team
North Carolina - Just not that good yet; They have come back to Earth with losses to Wake Forest and Appalachian State
Virginia Tech - Seems to be a program in major turmoil, and narrowly escaped an FCS team.
Boston College - Kansas (yes, Kansas) beat these guys by 24
Again, we all know the disappointment that has come so often with being a Pitt fan, but if I can channel the 2016 Penn State team for a second, yesterday’s win could be our win over Ohio State that propels us to a long winning streak and a season with double digit wins.
