Ones I met in the Clark Bar were classy, and very reasonable in football comments. Also, visited their board and they were very complimentary. Good luck to Louisville in their rival game with Kentucky. They were close to having an excellent season, only losing at Auburn by a TD, and 3 pt losses to Houston and Clemson, in addition to Fla St.

I had no issues with them but they struck me as close cousins to our hoopies down south. Wearing your camo hunting gear to a football game strikes me as an iffy decision

Some fans may be OK but the academics are horrendous plus they cheat. They don't belong in the ACC and I hope they lose every game in all spors.

The ones I talked to were cool and hate cc so their not bad. Lol

I remember a couple years ago when the Ville was winning and Panthers were down the Ville fans had no problem being Hoopie Jr fans, plus there were quite a few more of them traveling here. Losing tends to shut some fans up and even help some decide to stay home.

While I had no unpleasant encounters with Louisville fans (unlike WVU) I don't like Louisville , as an institution of learning they lack integrity with head coaches hiring and retention. Win at any cost to hell with integrity. Academically they not much better than WVU.
I've come to refer to UL as Slut U, one coach buys sluts for recruiting players, the other coach puts a bike riding blond bitch on university payroll (all be it at Ark.) . At least pay for your own mistress. These coaches are the front porch of Louisville and based on those representatives the house should be condemned.

Interesting perspectives. I'm just glad the B12 picked WVU to join their conference instead of the Ville (a decision I still don't understand), and the ACC had the Ville available as an option. Although the ACC may well have taken UConn instead of WVU had the B12 gone in the other direction.

went to Louisville a couple years back when PITT beat them with sunseri. After game fans were great and congratulated us on win. But had to question their football savvy cause they wanted to trade bridgewater straight up for tino, lol !!!!!

I have always has positive fexperiences when visiting Louisville. The fans and employees at the drinking establishments and the hotels close to Papa John's were cordial. The stadium crowd was not hostile. Except for the locals southern drawl, I did not find Louisville to resemble Morgantown at all.

How's that view from your ivory tower?
With what went on with the scandal involving academics and your athletes at UNC, you would best be served to bite your tongue and avoid verbal confrontations of this nature; at least until the public memory of your institution's failings begin to fade.

ABSOLUTELY. During all that period with all the breathless talk about the Big 12 raiding the ACC, when the dust settled, the stepped on their johnsons and took WVU, and the ACC managed to be forced to trade up after the Big 10 went low rent to get Maryland, and got Louisville.

I don't think the ACC woudl have taken WVU - beyond having to get that low, it all comes down to TVs, and they bring no TVs that the Virginia teams or Pitt brings brings, and Pitt has more reach.
