Pitt needs to work off the triple team on Young

Am i the only one who thinks the refs are just letting to be teams play?

That's how I see it. Both ways.

Lot's of contact in the game (both ways) but only 11 fouls total.

I suspect they will call it a bit tighter in the second half.

I know there is a lot of justified criticism of Young forcing things, but who else has been able to get free for a shot. The rest of the team just isn't effective at getting open or taking a shot.

Usually, with the numbers Pitt has put up tonight, a team would be down by 15-20.

On the other hand, Louisville is shooting 28% overall and is 1-8 on threes and has only shot one all important foul shot and has turned the ball over seven times already, and they are ahead by three.

It looks like Louisville was able to speed Pitt up and make them uncomfortable on offense; let's see if they can relax and start shooting in the 2nd. Ville had a lot more open looks that just didn't go down. If Pitt doesn't get things going on O, it could get ugly.

I'm having a hard time faulting pitt here. This officiating plays right to lousvilke, and it is hard to run an offense when you are constantly grabbed and hacked.
