***Pitt-Clemson Game Thread***

This team has no heart and is poorly coached. Capel and all his useless assistants all need to go.
I will refute the no heart part. They defended their asses off the last 10 minutes of that game. The coaching part I can't argue with. You can't continue to play only street ball. There is more you can do on a basketball court than a ball screen and roll. Lowe plowing up contested 3s is also not an offensive strategy.

The defense for the last 6 - 8 minutes in the second half was pretty good and the comeback resulted from some pretty good defense. But playing playground ball on the offensive end won't cut it in college basketball now. Watching how fast and unselfish Clemson played for the whole game was key to their win. They didn't stand around on offense and moved the ball up the court quickly. That's a well-coached team.

It's unnerving to watch Pitt bring the ball up the court in offense to watch Lowe dribble around on the perimeter then try to penetrate at about 3 seconds on the shot clock. Dribble drives need to be used less. They aren't working.

I'm torn on Capel's comments after the game because we had a dichotomy as a team. 4 players no the floor were pouring everything into the game the last 15 minutes, including OT. One player, unfortunately our best, was playing uninspired hero ball.
