Is "hick spit" part of the recipe, because I can guarantee there is quite a bit of it in that pot after that video.
Sure he was ranked high and has physical talent but IMO he has shown nothing as far as actually knowing how to play or shoot. He had more turnovers than assist and shot really poor %. No sour grapes but I don’t understand why many here thought he would be a big get. Maybe big name but not big get. With that said watch him light it up next year lol.
Big get (miss) because I still think he would have filled a position of need. I hope we have some others in mind…
I think Meechie is better than most people give him credit for. His early season numbers were good. After his injury he struggled.
What need does he fill except for added depth? He’s not a PG as he doesn’t make others better and has more turnovers than assists. He’s not a shooter…look at the numbers. He’s another combo G whose strength is driving. Maybe he puts it together at SC as he has physical talent.
Femi (gone), Nelly and Burton are all better players. But we do need to add a G who can play PG. You should always have 3 guys on your roster who can play PG. And everyone knows we need shooters. We need someone who can space the floor to give John room to work.
I hear you and we will add another G or 2. Yep we still need another PG. But I’m really surprised we are not involved with any shooters (or at least aren’t from what these sites and Twitter reports). Moe could space the floor but he graduated. Horton played no D and we streaky as hell. They were the 2 best shooters, now we may have only one guy in Nelly who can space the floor.
With 6 ships left we need multiple guys who can shoot. But from his time here JC had not recruited many shooters.
