Is it possible they did and it was never communicated? We played that possession like we needed a 3.
It still shows 78-76 in the gamecast, which comes from the official scoring tally.
We honestly got a really good whistle tonight. That was the best of the best reffing that game and they did a pretty solid job.
Did we have a TO?

Maybe Capel told them they were down 3 in the huddle, figuring it was unbelievably overt and they would change it. I dunno. Seemed like Nike was only looking 3.
Pitt played a ton of Q3/4 games due to the weakness of the league. PSU, WVU, Rutgers, etc all would have lost Q3/4 games but didnt play any

Rewound it...UM actually defended well there. He had nowhere to go. But Hinson shouldn't have launched from where he did. Panicked.
The challenge would have been to get a worse shot. Could we have possibly done that?
His toe was not on the line, at least the only view they showed did not have it.

Great game. Team never gave up. Too many 2nd chances for UM. Still can’t believe we were 1 win away from ACC title.
If the committee watches that game and thinks Pitt is still not a NCCA tournament team they are absolutely ****ing brain dead. Their NET should remain right at 55 even after this loss tonight and at the very worst they are 10 seed solidly in the tourney. Pitt will win at least one game this week in Greensboro they won’t be a 1 and done in this tournament.

He was defended fairly well but he has made his share of 3s this year with an opponents hand in his face. Would rather have had a challenged shot from close to the arc than a half court heave.
Federico could have attempted a three pointer left handed from half court?
