Miami's Non-Conference schedule

Scheduling tough teams doesn't appeal to me, the opponent is never the draw for me. I'd rather attend a win vs. YSU than go see NATIONAL POWERHOUSE ALABAMA dismantle my team, see THE BEST isn't a draw for me, I'd rather see a win, or if not at lease a hyper competitive game in doubt until the end, not a 59-21 loss, then say "we say a good team''.

Its cheaper to buy a 1aa or low mid-major win for Pitt than to buy the type of coach and staff we would need to beat better teams. If we can win enough of those games, maybe we grow our base enough to move on to better schedules.

For 40 years we've been scheduling like idiots with the same results. If we don't start hiring smarter people to schedule better, we're looking at 40 more years of .500 football and zero program growth.

If we can’t afford to hire coaches and staffs needed to beat better teams why do we think we can afford to hire smarter people who would schedule better?

The ACC gains more and more respect every year. Honestly even if your team has decent prestige and they are undefeated in a power 5 conference, you will make the playoffs. It doesn’t matter anymore about your non conference sos.

The ACC and the SEC are the best conferences in football top to bottom. No conference is even close. Can’t wait to see the all of the conference’s bowl records this year!!

Well as of this afternoon the big ten is 5-0
You aren’t kidding, never would have seen that coming. Given the pac 12 dropping 3 games about to be 4 games to that conference helps inflate that number.

I will give them credit despite a lot of close games they have played very well.

ACC has been on the losing end of a lot of close games this year which is unfortunate as well.

The biggest story should be how horrid the PAC 12 is...
